Pearse Park Leisure Centre

Type: Community
Status: Ongoing 2008
Client: Dublin City Council

The project was conceived as part of a masterplan for the entire Park. The Plan involved the reorganization of the playing fields and the creation of new planted areas together with the recreation of the park boundaries to eliminate all currently concealed areas. The primary element of the plan was replacement of the existing swimming pool with a new leisure centre to be located in the south west corner of the Park. here it not only created a very direct visible link to Crumlin village, it formed a gateway to the park itself.

The Centre contains, over two levels, a swimming pool, gym, boxing club and changing facilities for the playing fields of the Park.
